Overview
This project was one of multiple summer design opportunities under the guidance of licensed architect and mentor Michael Randle. Using a plan and photos of the existing space, I modeled and rendered options for the revamp of this kitchen.
Existing Space
After making the decision to put their house on the market, the Randle's considered giving their kitchen a modern facelift. Being an architect himself, Michael already had an idea of what he wanted the space to look and feel like. Seeing the opportunity to help develop the skills of a rising designer, Mr. Randle brought me onto the project as co-designer and 3D visualizer. My roles included recommending and modeling different finishes and lighting while learning about the functional design of the residential kitchen.

Highlighting Light
Seeing how important natural light was to the quality of the space, the decision to adhere to an axial relationship to the sources of natural light in the kitchen dominates the plan of the new kitchen.
