A Simple 'STOOL'
Designed during a study abroad experience in Copenhagen, DK, Object 264 is an exploration in the power of simplicity and craft. Across the design process, ornamentation was to be kept to a minimum. No element of the stool is without purpose.

Structure
Primarily functioning as a stool, structure was the main concern throughout ideation. Expression of the structural system by exposing the stretchers became a way to introduce a graphical element. This idea of structural transparency is continued by showing the dowels connecting the legs and stretchers.
